Join volleyball coach and SHS alum Felicia Baptista for an outdoor volleyball clinic! Located entirely outside at the West School Complex (also known as the John W Dennison Athletic Complex) participants will spend each week working on skills, drills and positions. UPDATE: Session 1: Mon 10/12, Tues 10/20, Mon 10/26, Mon 11/2  3:30-4:45 PM(We will still be holding volleyball on Columbus Day 10/12)Session 2: Wed 10/14, Wed 10/21, Wed 10/28, Wed 11/4  3:30-4:45 PMNEW High School Session: Thurs 10/22, Thurs 10/29, Thurs 11/5, Thurs 11/12 3:00-4:15 pmPlease bring your own volleyball each week as well as a mask and water bottle.  Please follow all state and CDC guidance regarding hygiene protocols and social distancing for youth sportsPlease note: due to covid restrictions limiting group size, these are drop off programshttps://www.mass.gov/doc/safety-standards-for-youth-and-adult-amateur-sports-activities-phase-iii-step-1/download

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM    Stoughton Leadership Institute - Stoughton Leadership Institute
SLI members should attend workshops every week on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30. Members who want to participate in the Mentoring program will attend those workshops as well.  All workshops will be virtual, on Zoom, unless there is an outdoor space or a room that follows all COVID-19 protocols near the rec department. Aubrey will hold office hours on Thursdays and Fridays, in which members have to check in at least once a semester. Members are responsible for letting Aubrey know if they are not going to a meeting/workshop. As COVID-19 permits, attend 3 leadership events throughout the year. 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM    Mass Audubon Owl Prowl - Owl Prowl
Join Mass Audubon’s Museum of American Bird Art as we adventure into the woods of the Bradley Lessa Playground to search for some of our favorite backyard owls. Learn some owling tips, look closely at owl pellets, learn about owl ecology and make your own owl nest and owl out of natural materials in the forest! Masks are required. Anyone staying for the program MUST register.

Join Molly and Matt from the Stoughton Recreation Department as you prepare creative works of culinary art. Come learn to create one of a kind items for all to enjoy - social distance style!This class is inside the Recreation Center at 15 Pleasant St. Please review our indoor class policies before registering. Each participant will be stationed at least 6 feet apart and all participants and staff will wear a mask for the entirety of the program. We will never use any peanut or tree-nut products, but eggs, dairy and gluten will be used. Please email us at recreation@stoughton-ma.gov with questions regarding food allergies. Please note: due to covid restrictions limiting group size, these are drop off programs. Parents are welcome to stay nearby in our parking lot

Have your kids been talking about the new trend hydrodipping? Hydrodipping (also known as immersion printing or water transfer printing) is a unique art form that allows you to apply marbled patterns to almost any three-dimensional object. Popular things to hydrodip are water bottles, tumblers, phone cases and more. Bring anything you want to hydrodip and we'll have water bottles available as well!
