We are excited to announce we will be offering a modified version of our Open Playground program for summer 2020! The Recreation Department has worked closely with town officials to prioritize safety for everyone this summer while still having fun! We have so many great activities and games planned, theme days, crafts, sports and more!
There is no Pre-Playground, Knights of Summer, After Playground Outer Limits or Extreme Week this year but they will all be back for summer 2021!
This year's program will running at limited capacity, and the program will run from 8:15 AM- 12:30 PM with assigned staggered drop off and pick up times on the South School campus.
Please be prepared to answer the following questions: Do you or your child have a fever of 100 f or higher? Are you or your child currently experiencing shortness of breath, cough, or sore throat? Have you or your child experienced a loss of sense of taste or smell in the last 14 days? Has anyone your household has been in close contact with been diagnosed with covid-19 or told by a healthcare professional that they may have covid-19 within the past 14 days?
Staff will sanitize equipment at the beginning of the day, before the use of any equipment, and after they are done using equipment. Indoor use of the facilities will only be allowed for bathroom breaks & in case of inclement weather.
The program will be canceled on rain days. Program alerts can be found on www.stoughtonrec.org, email from Stoughton Rec, and the Stoughton Recreation Facebook page. There will be no refunds for rain days.
