Join Stoughton Rec & Mass Audubon Saturday mornings in July as we explore the nature within the parks & Ponds of Stoughton! Each week will be a different themed workshop that will include a craft & hands-on activities that dive into the worlds of habitats, conservation, and discovery! July 11th- Bradley Lessa Playground-10 AM
Birding at the Playground!
Learn how to go birding anywhere you are! During this program, you will go birdwatching and learn about our native birds, their migration, and habitat requirements! Use printmaking to create art inspired by bird feathers right at the Playground
July 18th – Ames Pond-10 AM
Look closely at amazing dragonfly wings using magnifying glasses, learn about how and what dragonflies hunt, and create dragonfly art! You will be able to create a mixed media art project using nature and science as our guide. Join us as we discover dragonfly habitat at Ames Long Pond right here in Stoughton!
July 25th – Halloran Park – 10 AM
Junior Botanists: Photosynthesizing Fun!
Learn about solar energy, plants, and photosynthesis while soaking up the sun at Halloran Park! Discover the green world around you, use magnifying glasses, field microscopes, and more to become a junior botanist, and create your very own nature sun print! Create art in the park as we dive into the conservation and ecology of our green world!
